The December Glasgow walk took us around the amazing Glasgow Mural Trail. About 15 of us all met at George Square and wound our way around the trail, seeing some incredible art work. We had a coffee stop at the Briggait before continuing our walk and talk along part of the Broomielaw and winding our way through various narrow streets and arches. A fascinating walk with great company.

We had a wonderful walk on Saturday 10th April taking in many of the bridges over the Clyde. We heard about the history of each bridge as we crossed over and had great chats and laughter along the route. We had a picnic lunch in Glasgow Green before heading back to the BBC where we were met by our Canmore ambassador Judith Ralston.

Our next Glasgow walk is being held on Saturday 7 December so get the date in your diaries now as we would love for you to join us. Below are photos of our walk and of our route

On Saturday 6 April we had our first Glasgow Wellbeing walk. About 25 of us met in George Square, headed out towards the West End, through Kelvingrove Park, alfresco packed lunches at the Art Gallery then back through the West End again to where we started. Young and not-so-young joined us on this great walk with great conversations enroute. Why not join us for our next Glasgow Wellbeing walk on Saturday 10 August 2024. Our thanks to Eddie McLaughlin who mapped out the route, kept us all safe and got us there and back with smiles on our faces.
