We are delighted to announce the launch of a new project being run by The Canmore Trust. Wellbeing walks are starting up in various locations in Scotland.

Edinburgh Wellbeing Walk

The 3rd Canmore Trust Edinburgh Wellbeing Walk is this Saturday 6th July. A chance to walk in some beautiful Edinburgh countryside, but most importantly, talk.

After the success of the last event, the next Canmore Trust Edinburgh Wellbeing Walk will be on Saturday 6th July. Meeting at 11am outside the Waverley Mall entrance on Waverley Bridge. Route TBC but will likely be 3-4h where people can join for as much or as little as they want. Flattish route taking in some local countryside.

We’ll be doing a flat-ish 17km (10 miles) walk at a nice gentle pace. No significant hills this time!! Heading through Princes Street Gardens, we’ll descend to Stockbridge and join the Water of Leith path. We’ll pass through the picturesque Dean Village, heading past Murrayfield Stadium and then stop at Saughton Park where there is a cafe for a well deserved coffee and cake. From there we will join the Union Canal at Craiglockhart, where we will return to Central Edinburgh via Fountainbridge and our finish point at the Castle.

Join us for all or even part of the walk.

Please come and join for an all abilities walk, and start up some conversations with new friends you haven’t met yet.
